I have a reading list that's as long as my arm. I'm the absolute worst, I buy books and then months later they are still sitting on my book shelf unread. So by the end of this year I would like to have read some of the unread books on my bookshelf.
So the first one I really want to read by the end of the year is The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. I actually bought this book at the beginning of this year and it has been sitting unloved in my room for months and months now. But as the film is coming out I refuse to watch it before I read the book so it's high up on my reading list! I love a good thriller mystery, and I can't wait to finally read this.
The next one is A Song of Ice and Fire Series by George R. R. Martin. Well maybe not the whole series just yet. But I bought them all in a box set and I really want to read the first one by the end of 2016! I love Game of Thrones so much, it's one of my favourite TV shows, and I've been wanting to read them for ages but it was always daunting to me how many books there were! I've gotten over that now and I just can't wait to start reading.
The last one on my reading list for this year is Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I've seen so many people reccomending this book to everybody. This is another book that I want to read because of a film. I sort of know the outline of the story and I'm a sucker for romance novels. I haven't read a good romance book in what feels like forever, so this is a great book to start with.
I do want to get back into reading, because I've sucked at finding the time to read a book. I used to read so many when I was younger. And I still managed to go to school and have a really busy social life! I want to get back into the swing of things, so if I set myself to read three books by the end of this year then hopefully I'll find the time to do it!
