Blogmas Day 24 - 20 Things I've Learned In 20 Years

Happy Christmas Eve! For me it's going to be a fun packed day of present giving to friends, last minute shopping and wrapping tons of presents. I hope everybody has a super chilled Christmas Eve and if you're anything like me and leaves everything until the last minute then I wish you luck!

It was my 20th birthday yesterday. I've technically been an adult for 2 years already, but I feel like I'm getting further away from adulthood as I'm getting older.. I like to think I've learned a lot over the past 20 years.. So in honour of my birthday I've put together a list of 20 of them.

1. Be your own best friend.
2. Don't let anybody put you down for your interests.
3. It's perfectly okay to spend the day watching children's films when you're legally classed as an adult.
4. Try to be nice and kind to everybody.
5. Take some time out of your day for yourself, run a bubble bath and relax.
6. It's okay to say no.
7. Know your self worth, don't ever settle for something that's less than what you deserve.
8. Step out of your comfort zone at least once.
9. Waking up early is actually great.
10. Keep a planner! It will save you from forgetting those important dates.
11. Don't forget your friends if you get a new boyfriend or girlfriend.
12. Eat what you want to eat, just don't forget to take care of yourself.
13. The Internet isn't bad! I've learnt loads from it, so don't let people tell you you're wasting your time!
14. Go on holiday! Whether it's half an hour away in a car, or 12 hours away on an aeroplane.
15. Perform a random act of kindness at least once.
16. Be creative, write, draw, sing, make music.
17. Pick up a new hobby.
18. Show somebody you care, even with the tinyist gesture.
19. You don't have to have your whole life planned out, some 40 year olds still don't know what they want.
20. Fake it til you make it.

Thank you to my good friend Harrison who helped with a few of these points, I was struggling a bit with the last few!
