Blogtober Day 4 - Autumn

Finally! The time has come. The leaves will start falling off the trees, the days will start getting shorter and colder, my extensive jumper collection will soon come out of hiding and every TV show that I love will shortly be back with brand new seasons.

It's Autumn! Which is definitely my most loved season, closely followed (but most probably joined) by Winter of course.

I don't know whether it's because I'm a December baby, but I'm in love with the cold weather. I love layering up, cuddling up with blankets and drinking my weight in hot chocolate. So as soon as it starts getting close to October it quickly becomes my most favourite time of the year.

I honestly can't wait to get into my nearest city so I can spend the day shopping for new clothes and make up. I just love the autumnal colours and styles, so I'm excited to see what's on offer this year. I'm especially excited to start wearing fluffy socks, hats and scarves again! They make me feel so cosy.

I'm a huge fan of Lush (as some of you may already know), so now that the Halloween and Christmas products are out I think I'll be spending even MORE time taking bubble baths. There's nothing better than taking a hot bubble bath in the autumn evenings, especially after a long day of work.

It's also the time to get my candles out and burning, I swear my bedroom is probably a fire risk, but every year without doubt I'm lighting candles as soon as the colder weather starts coming in.. Then again, I light them quite a few times throughout the year but it definitely gets more common during the autumn and winter months.

Some of the best things I love about autumn though are the holidays, first up is Halloween.. Which is one of my favourite holidays, I always love finding the perfect Halloween costume and watching all the horror films I can. Then after that it's Bonfire Night! I love going to our local bonfire, smelling the bonfire through the air, spending all of my money on the fair and watching the fireworks and holding sparklers .. It's the epitome of autumn to me.

I can't wait.
