New Favourite Shows?

I've become a hermit. I haven't really left my house much in the past two weeks (apart from work and a couple of social endeavours) and there's only one reason for that.. A new TV show, well it's two tv shows actually. Arrow and The Flash, but they are in the same DC universe.

I had been wanting to watch these shows for so long but I always ended up choosing something else to watch instead of them. It sounds ridiculous now I've watched them! I went so long without watching them I definitely should have started sooner. I'm so thankful to my best friend for nagging me to watch them for so long.

These two shows have become some of my favourites. If you have any knowledge of superheroes or comic books then you'll know at least a little bit of what happens, but for any of those who have been living under a rock here's the gist of Arrow and The Flash.

Arrow is about a billionaire named Oliver Queen who was stranded on an island for five years, he faced a lot of challenges on that island and he's now returned home, leading a double life as Oliver Queen and a vigilante named The Arrow.

(both title cards were found on wikipedia)

The Flash is a spinoff of Arrow and it is about a scientist who works as a CSI named Barry Allen who gets struck by lightning and falls into a coma for nine months. He wakes up and finds out he is the fastest man alive, and he also leads a double life as Barry Allen and The Flash.

Each show has a few characters who help Oliver and Barry with their missions of fighting the bad guys and saving their cities.

The storylines in are great, the cinematography is outstanding and the acting is incredible. I've watched tons of tv shows in my life but I have to admit these two are some of the best when it comes to the production side of things.

I watched all three seasons of Arrow and the one season of The Flash in a little over two weeks. The only trouble with watching them in such a short space of time is that I now have nothing to do with my spare time and I have to wait until at least October for seasons two and four come out! So unfair.
