Meet my new car! As many of you who read my blog regularly know I've been looking for a car since I passed my test last month. So for the past few weeks I've been searching the Internet to find a car I'm happy with. It didn't help that I was really fussy and I only wanted a Mini or a VW Polo.
So I found one, and then I found another one, and another one and so on and so on. They always fell through though, they either went off sale before I could do anything about it or they were miles and miles away which we couldn't get to. They just weren't meant to be I guess. But then I found this one in Warrington. I found it a couple of weeks ago and I've been longing for it ever since. We tried to get there THREE times but with my whole family working different ours it became difficult.
But my saviour of a dad took a detour on his way to work to go and put a deposit down for me and we all finally went today to pick it up! I'm actually in love with it, this is the most money I've ever spent on something and it still feels really weird to say I have a car of my very own. I made my mum drive it home because quite frankly motorways scare the hell out of me. But I guess with more and more experience they won't seem so daunting.
I can't wait to go on cute road trips with my friends. I'm sure my little polo will do me well over the next few years, and hopefully it will see so many more new and cool places with me. The only thing that I'm struggling for is a name! I want a name for it but I have no idea what to call it. I think I'll have to brainstorm some ideas.
