I remember doing exactly the same post last year on my mums birthday, just with some cuter photos. But she's the best person I know and she's my best friend, so she deserves everything! I know it's now another year away till her next birthday but it's the big 5-0 next year so I'm currently thinking of what I could get her to make it extra special.
I'm thinking about maybe taking her somewhere for a few days. She never really gets to go on holiday anymore so what better way to celebrate her 50th by taking her somewhere nice. Maybe somewhere like London. She's always wanted to go and anybody who knows me or this blog knows how much I love London so there's something in it for me too! I'd love to take her around all of my favourite places in London!!
I didn't really get her much this year, I got her a shirt from George in ASDA that she has been eyeing up for the past few weeks and a box of chocolates too! I also have a Michael Buble CD coming for her on Friday as a surprise. She'a a huge fan of him, and she keeps saying she wants to go see him. Which I've said I would take her to, buuut she wants to see him in Madison Square Garden. In New York. On the other side of the Ocean.
