I love having a movie night, it's one of my favourite things to do. Halloween is one of my favourite holidays too, so having a movie night revolving around Halloween films is a bonus!
So, grab you're popcorn and snuggle up in comfy clothes and a warm blanket.
So here's my perfect movie night!
First start off with Halloween, it's a must. You can't not watch Halloween on Halloween. You've got to watch the original though. They got awful after number two! And I liked the remake when I first watched it but after rewatching it wasn't that great. Maybe another older film to choose from is The Shining, its such a classic film it's definitely on the must watch list.
Then carry on to something else scary. Halloween is the best night to watch horror films, so you've got to carry on! I would probably then go onto something newer. Old horror films are the best but the new technology and special effects make the new ones just as good. So I would maybe suggest something like Mama, Insidious or The Conjuring. Not the best films in the world but I still think they've got some pretty good jump scares.
Then maybe end the night on a lighter note, with an animated film. After all those scary films you need something to help you sleep. The Nightmare Before Christmas is a good shout, it's still Halloween themed plus it's not scary! Although it did scare the hell out of me when I was little. Maybe some others to think about are The Addams Family, Hotel Transylvania or Paranorman.
Ooh I thought of a few more! Beetlejuice and The Haunted Mansion. I haven't watched them in ages but I remember they were both great! I don't think I could watch all of these in one night but I could definitely try.
