London Haul

I still miss London! I would actually give anything to live there, would somebody like to lend me money so I can actually afford somewhere to live down there which isn't a tiny little studio flat that is the size of my bedroom. (Which is the tinyist in the house by the way.)

I totally thought I bought a lot more than what I came home with, but after handing out presents it seemed like I didn't get a lot for myself. I think that means I should go back for another holiday so I can buy some more stuff! That's how it works, right?

Considering I didn't buy that much, my suitcase still felt like I was carrying a dead body around with me. I will probably be doing a completely different LUSH haul because I feel like I spent the majority of my money in there.

The first thing I bought was this MAC Retro Matte Lip in the shade Tailored to Tease. I had been looking round Selfridges for what seemed like hours to try and find a new lipstick that didn't clash with my hair. I was about to give up when I found another MAC stand a few floors up. There was nobody there, which was refreshing as the stand on the bottom floor was that packed that you couldn't move. I found the Retro Matte Lip line and I fell in love with this colour, it's the perfect colour to match my hair and it's not too bright either. This was £21.

I got a few bits from Urban Outfitters, I have been looking for a vinyl sized frame for ages, every time I go somewhere to pick one up they're either sold out or they don't sell them! I have a signed print from Troye Sivan and I've been dying to frame it for ages. I found this in the sale section and it was £10 reduced from £18. When I got to the till however it was only £6! Bargain and it's real glass too. If you didn't read my last post on London then you won't know that we took dozens of Polaroid pictures. I needed somewhere to hang them so I picked up this picture rope for £6. I then went back into Urban Outfitters a few days later and I bought Humans of New York: Stories. I have been dying to read this for ages, so I thought I would pick it up while I was there. This was £20 which is pricey and I still can't believe I paid that much for it, but it's been on my list for ages and I can't find it anywhere near where I live.

I bought this super cute phone case from the Topshop on Oxford Street too, I've been searching the SkinnyDip website for ages trying to find a new phone case that I liked but nothing ever jumped out at me. So while I was browsing round Topshop I saw the SkinnyDip stand and then I saw this phone case, it cost £14 and I absolutely love it. It's got watermelons printed all over the back with bits of glitter all over it. It's so shiny and so, so pretty.

While we were wandering around looking for somewhere to eat we stumbled across King's Cross station so as we were there we headed inside in a search to find Platform 9¾. I could have spent all day inside the Harry Potter shop and I could have bought everything there. I'm honestly going to be that person with the Harry Potter themed house. I bought this Platform 9¾ hoodie which is the comfiest thing ever this cost £29.99. I bought this cute Deathly Hallows necklace for £8.95, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans for £3.50. I'm actually kind of terrified to try these out just in case I get the disgusting flavours. I got this pen for £5.95, a mug with my house crest Ravenclaw on for £8 and this chocolate bar for £3.95. The chocolate didn't last very long, it was really nice!
