Hey! Sorry there was no new blog post last week, I took the week off. I know January is supposed to be the month of new years resolutions and whatnot and December is supposed to be the month for relaxing, but it's sort of been the other way around for me.
December was jam packed, between Christmas and my birthday and stressing out over present buying I had hardly any time to relax. Not to mention I took part in Blogmas too! So I thought I'd treat myself to a week off to recharge my batteries.
So with the month drawing to a close, here are my monthly favourites.
First up is Benefit's Roller Lash, I got this in a Benefit gift set for Christmas. I actually prefer this one to They're Real because this seems less clumpy and it makes my eyelashes look a lot longer. The next time I go into town Roller Lash will be at the top of my list!
Another thing I got in the gift set was a mini Porefessional, I've never used a primer before so I can't really compare it to anything but this product is a lifesaver. It makes my pores less noticeable and my make up stays on a LOT longer than it used to. I've ran out of this though unfortunately, so this is another thing I'll need to make sure I get soon.
I went to Chester just before Christmas and I FINALLY picked up Snow Fairy from LUSH. Snow Fairy is my favourite shower gel from LUSH and I look forward to Christmas every year so I can buy this. Is that sad? Anyway, I bought the bigger version than I usually do because I always run out too soon. I love the smell of this so much!
Next is Hand Food by Soap & Glory, I got this as part of the It's The Whole She-Bang box, and I haven't stopped using it. It makes my hands feel nice and refreshed and it isn't oily at all which is a huge plus for me. I absolutely hate it when hand creams don't rub in properly and you're left with that awful wet feeling. Hand food is my saviour, especially in the cold weather we're having right now.
I couldn't not include this TV show in here, I started How To Get Away With Murder last week and both my mum and I are obsessed with it. It's about a group of criminal law students who are chosen by the professor Annalise Keating to help her with her cases. Throughout the show we are shown a flash forward of 3 months, this shows four of the chosen students standing around a dead body, trying to cover up a murder of their own. Honestly, go and watch this show you won't regret it! (The editing is flawless too!)
This last favourite is actually a moment and it was when I went to see Jeremy Loops a couple of weeks ago. I wrote a post about it here. This was a really last minute decision and I only booked the tickets a week before, which was lucky because the day after I booked them, they sold out completely! It was one of the best decisions I made though because the whole night was incredible. Jeremy and his band really know how to put on a show and I can't wait until he comes back so I can go again.
That's it for this months favourites! Thank you so much for reading!
