Yesterday I finally got some Tanya Burr nail polish in the post. I wanted to try these out last year when she first released her beauty range, but as I stopped watching her YouTube videos I sort of forgot about them.
I was doing a bit of online shopping the other day, I was looking for some pastel shades of nail polish because I didn't want anything too bright or too dark. As I was scrolling through endless amounts of nail polish, these popped up in my recommendations! I had a look at the shades they had on offer, there were loads.. So many more than I was looking at last year.
I bought the shades 'Duvet Day' which is a light grey with a tint of blue, 'Fairy Godmother' which is a pastel purple and then 'Penguin Chick' which is sort of a brown colour.
I've only tried Fairy Godmother so far, I used two coats of it and it's looking perfect. I didn't expect it to be that good because the only reviews I've heard on this range are the reviews of her closest friends, so obviously they'll have nothing bad to say about it. I have to admit though it went on like a charm, the golden tops of these come off to reveal a plastic top which is easier for applying.
I'll have to wait a few days to see if it chips easily though, usually my normal nail polish I use lasts about 2 or 3 days before it inevitably starts chipping. Hopefully this one lasts longer!
I can't wait to try the other two because I think they're really good shades for the winter time. I'm sure these are quickly going to become my new favourite colours.
