Blogmas Day 5 - The Christmas Tag

I have a busy day ahead of me, I'm finally buying my Christmas tree! So today will be filled with tree shopping, working and then decorating my house! So I thought I'd do a cute tag for today's Blogmas post, this is the Christmas Tag!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie?
I actually did a post on this yesterday! I'm going to have to say The Santa Clause is my most favourite though. Mainly because of the fact it's become such a tradition to watch it with my mum every Christmas.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Christmas morning! Although I did try to convince my parents to let me open one on Christmas Eve every year. It never worked! Now I'm always excited to wait until Christmas morning instead!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I remember my whole family coming round for Christmas dinner once, I think I was about 5 or 6 but we had to put together about 3 tables to fit the whole family in. It's one of the memories I associate the most with Christmas and I remember how happy I felt that day that I was surrounded by all of the people I loved.

4. Favourite festive food?
Christmas Dinner! My Nan makes THE best Christmas Dinner ever and I look forward to it for the whole year! Plus I don't know what she does to them but her roast potatoes taste so much nicer on Christmas Day than they do the other Sunday dinners. Also Cadbury's Snow Bites are at the top of the list too, they should do them all year round.

5. Favourite Christmas gift?
Would it be materialistic of me to say my laptop? Around the middle of last year my dad was joking that he was going to buy himself a Mac because his computer broke and I told him he wasn't allowed one until I got a Macbook (with the intention of me saving up and buying it myself).. Fast forward a few months and I was opening presents on Christmas Day, I was almost crying when I unwrapped a Macbook. It's my favourite thing I've ever had, honestly.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
The smell of the Christmas tree! Especially when you first go down in the morning and you open the door and the smell hits you. We've only had real Christmas trees for the past few years but it quickly became my favourite scent ever and I don't think that will ever change now!

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Not really, my parents love to do last minute shopping on Christmas Eve, so we're usually wrapping presents until late at night. It's my birthday on the day before though so we usually go out for a nice meal to celebrate then instead.

8. What tops your tree?
The main tree in the living room is always topped by an angel that I'm pretty sure is older than me. Her wings are falling off, bless her.. But it's my mum's favourite decoration so it always proudly takes the place at the top of the tree. My tiny one in my bedroom has a star on top though.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I do have to admit, I'm quite spoiled. I usually get what I ask for but I don't think I've ever asked for something crazy! I know I've joked to my parents about buying me a holiday to New York for Christmas but that's as crazy as it gets.

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?
Honestly just spending time with my family, it's the one time of the year where everybody puts aside their differences for one day. And it's the day we get to see family that we don't see that much. I don't know it's just one of my favourite things, I'm a really big family person.
