Advent Calendars are one of my favourite things leading up to Christmas, I love waking up and having a little chocolate fix in the morning. I've ALWAYS been a Cadbury's girl, I can't stand the character type advent calendars.. If it isn't Cadbury's then it's not worth having!
This year along with my trusty chocolate advent calendar I've treated myself to the Yankee Candle advent calendar. I wanted one of these last year but I missed out, this year I was determined to have it though. It's been sitting in my room for a couple of weeks and I've been trying to refrain myself from opening it early, it just smells too good.
I got the Carousel one rather than the others they had on offer, it was a little bit dearer than the others but I found this so much cuter so I couldn't leave it!
I did want a beauty advent calendar, I found out Benefit were doing one but I only found out a couple of days after it was released, so obviously they were sold out by then. I was gutted.. I didn't like the other beauty advent calendars that were in my price range, and all of the ones I really liked were so expensive! Maybe next year I'll find one.
I'm already enjoying the candles and it's only been 2 days! They smell incredible too, yesterday I got one called Candy Cane Lane and today I got one called Bundle Up. I much prefer Candy Cane Lane to Bundle Up but my room smells lovely nonetheless. I can't wait to open the rest of this, part of me wants to just open it all up at once, but where's the fun in that?
