Blogtober Day 26 - The British Tag

I've been wanting to do this tag for a while now, what better way to do it than for Blogtober!

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day and how many sugars?

This depends if I'm in work or not.. If I'm in work it will probably be about 3 or 4. But if I'm off and I'm having a bit of a lazy day then they don't stop. I have milk and two sugars, if anybody wants to invite me round for a cuppa.

2. Favourite part of your roast?

Roast Potatoes definitely! Especially the ones my Grandad makes, they taste amazing! Best part of the roast by far. Oh and the gravy too. Can't understand people who don't have gravy on a Sunday dinner.

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?

Can't go wrong with a rich tea, or a chocolate hobnob.

4. Favourite quintessentially British past-time?

Oooh, would it be awful to say a nice cup of tea? Made properly of course.. Tea bag and sugar, water and THEN milk. The amount of people I know who put the milk in before the water upsets me. Totally, unrelated but sort of related fact.. You know when something is on TV on a Saturday night, The X Factor for example, they make the adverts louder so when people leave to make their cups of tea they can hear when it comes back on.. Also there is a power surge around the same time, so there's enough electricity to power a lot of kettles that are being put on at the same time? THANK MY MEDIA TEACHER FOR THAT USELESS BIT OF INFORMATION.

5. Favourite word?

Literally the only thing that's coming to me right now is popty-ping! (which is welsh for microwave) that counts as something British right?

6. Cockney rhyme slang?

The only one I really know is apple and pears - stairs. I should probably know a whole lot more because my Grandad used to live there and my Uncle grew up there but I don't, I'm too far away!

7. Favourite sweet?

That's a hard one, I'm a chocolate girl more than I am a sweet girl. Give me anything Cadbury's though and I'll love it. I am quite enjoying Boost's at the moment though.

8. What would your pub be called?

Isn't there a thing in Britain that if you want to open a pub then you have to choose from a list of already chosen names? Which is why there are so many Nag's Head or The Red Lion's? Or is that just a lie somebody told me (I hate to say it but I'm quite gullible.) If it is true then that would make my life a whole lot easier because I'm not that great at coming up with names for places.

9. Number 1 British person?

What a hard question. I sort of want to say The Queen, because she's just so British. If you think of Great Britain, you think Queen.. Other than that though my favourite is Tom Hiddleston, he's perfect.

10. Favourite shop / restaurant?

Favourite shop is Lush, by far! Favourite. Place. Ever. As for restaurant I don't really go out that much, when I do though I usually go to Nando's (sorry, not sorry!)

11. What British song pops into your head?

Help by The Beatles?

12. Marmite.

Ew, no.
