Well, I say paradise.. It's not exactly the Bahamas but it's my own little haven of sorts. Almost every single year without doubt we've come here, whether its for a holiday or just a day trip. It's sort of like my second home. I'm in love with everything about it.
That little paradise is Barmouth which is situated in North Wales. I went there a few weeks back and it's honestly one of my favourite places in the world. I originally planned to go for 3 days while my family stayed for the week because I had work. I ended up going back for another 3 days in the end and I'm so glad I did.
We stayed in a caravan at the same campsite we've been staying at for years.. It's really cool too because the beach is only a minute walk away. I think I spent most of my time there to be honest.
The first half of this holiday I went with my nephews, so all that time consisted of going in the sea, building sandcastles and searching for seashells. We also walked along Barmouth bridge before the boys were complaining that they were tired, I can't really blame them, it's a really long bridge! The council are thinking of closing this bridge to the public unfortunately so we thought we better walk along it before it's inevitably closed.
The second half of the holiday we went without the boys because sadly they had school. This gave us chance to do the shopping and the chilled out stuff we couldn't really do with two little children. We also drove into Porthmadog which is only a 20 minute drive away.
I sort of vlogged this trip too, I say sort of because I never actually recorded myself, and when I think vlog I think somebody talking to a camera for most of their day. Plus after all the videos I took I only ended up using about a minute of good footage. I think it turned out pretty good though!
I absolutely love this place and it never feels like summer if I haven't visited here.
