Anybody who knows me knows I'm not a negative person and I hardly ever get annoyed with people. We all have those pet peeves though and I'm pretty sure I have a very long list of them. I am in no way making fun of anybody and I mean no harm with what I say.
I hate bad hygiene. Really bad body odour, bad breath, awful greasy hair. I know some people can't help it, I do. But there some people who are just too lazy to take care of themselves and I don't understand how they can let it get that bad.
People chewing with their mouth open.. The sounds they make too oh my god, it's so bad.
Somebody scratching their nails on a chalkboard. Or when a fork or something scrapes the bottom of a pan. It sends shivers down my spine, it's the worst sound in the world.
People that walk agonisingly slow in front of you, especially when there's somewhere you need to be. Then they stop right in front of you, it's a pain. (Older, younger, and disabled people are excused from this because sometimes they can't help it.)
Cracking the spine of a book! I HATE it when people do this, yes it may looked well loved or something but I hate it, you're left with an awful 'U' shaped spine. This is one of the reasons I hardly ever loan books out to people. I leant my friend a few books once and I was on his case for the entire time he had them. I was constantly asking him if he's keeping them in good condition. I probably annoyed him so much but my books mean a lot to me.
Another one is really a beauty pet peeve. I was so bad for this when I was younger and didn't know any different, but as I've grown up this has started to annoy me so much. You know when the person who's wearing foundation doesn't blend it in properly, so you're just left with a line of foundation around the chin. Blend it in girls and boys!
Spoilers. TV show spoilers, film spoilers, book spoilers I hate them. Especially spoilers without warning or tags. It really annoys me when people go out of their way to spoil you too. Like if they know you don't want to be spoiled but they do it anyway, they're the worst kinds of people. It takes away the chance of you finding it out yourself.
Being homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, racist, sexist etc. I don't care if it's 'how you were raised' it's 2015, it's time for you to change and get up to date with the rest of the world. It isn't wrong, so stop thinking that it is.
Finally, FRIENDZONE. Oh my god this word annoys me like no other. Unrequited love is a perfectly fine explanation for how you're feeling. You love the person and they don't love you back. It's as simple as that. The friendzone though, it's such a bad thing! This is blaming the girl because they don't love you back. It's blaming the girl for her right to say no. I say girls because it is mainly the female population who have to deal with this. I could go on about this forever, but I'm sort of already veering of the course of a pet peeve.
I could carry on writing this list of pet peeves, but it's best to keep it at this stage for now. I hope you've enjoyed reading about all the things that annoy me, there's a whole lot more!
