After months and months of wanting to dye my hair a crazy colour. I've finally taken the plunge and dyed it.
I originally wanted to dye it a really light shade of purple, but after my hairdresser told me my hair would have to be white for that to work and how long that would take to do. I opted for a darker shade instead.
What can I say? I'm impatient!
So my hairdresser came round and after bleaching my hair AGAIN (I'm very surprised I haven't completely killed it yet) we put a violet hair dye on. Somehow it came out more blue than purple but I absolutely love the colour. I feel like a mermaid! Or Sulley from Monsters Inc..
I think it's going to be a while until I go back to a normal hair colour. It's been almost three years since I've had any sort of vibrant colour in my hair and I don't know why I went so long with brown and blonde hair!
Now comes the trouble of trying to colour coordinate everything with my hair and make sure nothing clashes! That's easier said than done, I think!
I'm looking very punk rock right now and I love it.
