April Favourites

It's almost been a full year since I've done one of these things, that last one has been reverted to a draft never to be published again! I absolutely loved doing this last time but alas, I wanted a new start on this blog so everything had to go.

Now, I know these things usually include a bunch of make up and beauty products, but this month I haven't bought or tried anything new, so this month is just going to be a lot of random stuff.

SO. Without further ado, here are my favourite things I've been enjoying throughout the month of April.

The first thing has GOT to be the Future Hearts album by All Time Low. I bought it on vinyl and I think it was the best decision I ever made, everything always sounds better on vinyl.
If you read my previous post about All Time Low back in February, then you'll understand how much of a big fan I am. I've loved every single album these guys have put out and this one is no different. Every single song on this album is amazing but there's no surprise there. My favourite song differs from week to week though and this week my favourite has got to be Missing You. Seriously, if you haven't heard this album yet then you should go listen to it immediately.

The next is Paper Towns, I know I should have read it before now, it's been on my bookshelf for over a year. But with the movie fast approaching I thought it was time for me to read it, I usually try to read the books before I watch the films. I think I avoided everything Paper Towns Movie related until I actually read it. I thought this book was fantastic (but then again anything involving John Green usually is fantastic).

This month I have been looking after my hair a lot more, a couple of months ago I bleached my hair and it left my hair feeling dry and broken. I'd tried numerous products but each one still didn't give my hair that healthy feeling. Until I tried these. The hair treatment mask and heat protection spray work wonders! I no longer have dead ends or straw like hair. It feels healthy and it doesn't feel gross anymore.. They both smell super nice too which is always a plus!

I can include another album right? Because aside from Future Hearts I have not stopped listening to Old Souls by Deaf Havana. This band have always been one of those bands that I will listen to on occasion, like when a song of theirs comes on my phone or they bring out a new single or something. But this month I have been listening to them non stop! Especially this album, yes it's a couple of years old now and I'm late to the party but better late than never, right?

Another thing I've been obsessing over this month is candles. My entire room is just full of candles at the moment. I picked up some tea light candles from my last visit to primark, these are blackcurrant and forest plum scented and they smell incredible! For £1.30 these were a bargain!

Finallyyy, I have to include Game of Thrones! Okay, so we're only a few episodes into series 5 but I am LOVING it so far, I can't wait to see how the story of series 5 unfolds! Every single character has an intense storyline and I am so excited to find out what happens with them. I want to watch the next episode right now, I'm so impatient.. If you haven't watched Game of Thrones yet then all I have to say is.. Are you living under a rock?! Go watch it now.

And that's it for this months favourites. Go check out my recommendations, I promise you won't regret it!
